Tins

A tin or tin box is usually made from steel, occasionally coated with a thin layer of tin. The lid is either hinged or removable by means of a friction/press fit. There is an endless variety of advertising tins available, both vintage and modern; their vivid colours and compelling illustrations make them enticing as collector's items. The old saying: 'the more the merrier and one is never enough' perfectly sums up the hobby of collecting tins.
