Fused Glass
Fused glass is the method of layering or stacking, and melting, two or more pieces of glass together, in order to create various designs and impressions. This is usually done in a kiln at between 700 and 820 °C. The two most common methods of fusing glass are full fusing and tack fusing. Full fusing involves completely melting pieces of glass together at high temperatures. Tack fusing uses lower temperatures to stick various pieces of glass together whilst keeping their original shapes and colours.
